We got 4 quotes when moving into our home as we needed the entire house painted, including the base boards and the doors. There were many holes in the walls from the previous owners as well as some dry wall that was damaged that also needed some tough up. We have 3700 sq. of home and 24 feet ceilings and I am extremely fussy and particular. Paul exceeded my expectations and my expectations are high and pretty demanding when it comes to my home.
I was looking to keep my costs down as we had the expense of the new home but also wanted someone reliable. Paul was referred to me by someone who also used him and decided to use him as he seemed genuinely interested in understanding what was important to me. He certainly knows value of a full day’s work. He would show up at 8am and leave at 5pm stopping once for lunch and continued until his work was done. Unlike other contractors who show up somewhere during mid-morning and then are gone early afternoon, he slogged away in our home as committed to our home as we were.
* Promise and commitment – he gave us a deadline and was 100 percent on time. So much so we decided to give him some additional work to paint our kitchen cupboards. Again a spectacular job in his work and ensuring it was not a temporary paint job but one that lasts.
* Trustworthy – to leave him in your home and never worry
* Peace of mind – he does the work himself and onsite so ensuring he is responsible for the workmanship.
* Attention to detail. Paul is meticulous – no marks on the base boards or ceilings as he would mark off and ensure he covered what needed to be. We liked how he worked so got him to also paint our doors and base boards.
* Perfectionist – he would remove all door knobs, handles, pictures and fill them in as the previous owners left many holes in the walls. There were a few spots of dry wall which he also touched up from scrapes and bangs when the previous owners moved out.
* Pride in his work – he is neat and tidy always cleaned up after a day’s work and never left our place a mess ever. He even removed the old tins of paint and discarded them.
We have recommended Paul too many other people who know how meticulous I am. You will not find better value or someone as true to their word as Paul. Others talk the talk but Paul does the work and does it properly on time and at a very reasonable cost in relation to others. People usually say you get what you pay for. In Paul’s case you get more than what you paid for. He is by far the best Painter we have ever used and highly recommend him.
